UL 508A is the registration code for Industrial Control Panels from Underwriters Laboratories – a leading authority on Standards & Safety Certification. The UL Industrial Control Panel (ICP) Shop Program allows manufacturers who custom build or mass produce ICPs to apply the UL Marks for the U.S. and Canada at their factories. AMtec has participated in this program for more than 20 years. Our Quality personnel are trained UL “Manufacturer’s Technical Representatives.” To achieve this certification our MTRs undergo rigorous training and must pass a 4-hour qualification exam every 3 years.
